Quiet Lightning 5-year anniversary continues on December 14 with a Chemical Wedding at Doc’s Lab w/Name Drop Swamp Records: readings by Melissa Stein, Maw Shein Win, Benjamin Wachs, and Jason R Jimenez + music by Shenandoah Davis and Sean Nelson! (tix)

There’s an exhibition of art by past s+b cover artists at The Emerald Tablet through the end of January 2015, and they’re accepting submissions of visual art for the first round of their yearlong ekphrastic project.

The next submission-based show is January 5th at Green Apple Books on the Park. Submissions are open through the end of Wednesday, December 17th.
