Anders Carlson-Wee and Maria Gillam

FreeAnders Carlson-Wee is the author of The Low Passions, published by W.W. Norton in 2019. His work has appeared in The Paris Review, BuzzFeed, Ploughshares, Virginia Quarterly Review, Poetry Daily, The Sun, Best New Poets, The Best American Nonrequired Reading, and many other publications. The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the McKnight Foundation, the Camargo Foundation, Bread Loaf, Sewanee, and the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, he is the winner of the 2017 Poetry International Prize. His work has been translated into Chinese. Anders holds an MFA from Vanderbilt University and lives in Cincinnati.
Maria Mazziotti Gillan is winner of the 2014 George Garrett Award for Outstanding Community Service in Literature from AWP, the 2011 Barnes & Noble Writers for Writers Award from Poets & Writers, and the 2008 American Book Award for her book All That Lies Between Us. She is the Founder/Executive Director of the Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College, editor of the Paterson Literary Review, and has been appointed a Bartle Professor at Binghamton University-SUNY, and Professor Emerita of English and Creative Writing. She has published 23 books including Paterson Light and Shadow and What Blooms in Winter.
