Cantíl: Lily Hoang, Kevin Lo, Andrea Marina

Lily Hoang is the author of five books, including A Bestiary (PEN USA Award finalist and winner of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center’s Nonfiction Contest) and Changing (recipient of a PEN Open Books Award). She teaches in the MFA program at UC San Diego.

Kevin Lo is a composer, choreographer and writer based in Oakland (previously Australia, born New Zealand). He works with spatiality, machinic processes, and has a background in the biological sciences.

Andrea Marina is an indigenous writer originally from Miami, whose topics mainly center on trauma, killing men, and her deep and abiding love for Florida swamps. She co-hosts Words of Resistance with Andrea Abi-Karam, a monthly queer reading series focused on giving non-cis male identifying writers a platform to showcase their work. Her first chapbook “my dirty southern heart” was released through Mess Editions, a local press.
