Stiles, winner of both the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize (and dad of two), comes to the Mill Valley library in April to discuss his most recent biography The Last Trials of Custer with Write on Mama Mary Allison Tierney. They’ll discuss the craft of storytelling in nonfiction and the biographer’s dilemma: when to stop the research.
