The New Global Politics of Waste

This lecture addresses how wastes have become globalized, but also how one decision – such as China’s decision not to import paper and plastic scrap – can affect all of us right down to weekly decisions about taking out the trash.
Kate O”Neill is a Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management at UC Berkeley, teaching and working on global environmental politics and the global politics of waste.
