Rachel Kushner reads from and discusses her new novel, "The Mars Room," which is set in a California women's correctional facility. It follows Romy Hall at the beginning of two consecutive life sentences. Kushner is author of the novels "Telex from Cuba" and "The Flamethrowers," both of which were finalists for the National Book Award.
