DESCRIPTION:
Ingrid Rojas Contreras was born and raised in Bogotá, Columbia. Her first novel Fruit of the Drunken Tree won the Silver Medal in First Fiction from the California Book Awards. She is now working on a family memoir about her grandfather, a curandero from Columbia who was said to have the power to move the clouds.
