Aria Aber

Aria Aber was raised in Germany. Her debut book Hard Damage won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry and a Whiting Award. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, POETRY, the New Republic, and elsewhere. A graduate of the NYU MFA in Creative Writing, she holds fellowships from Kundiman, Dickinson House and the Wisconsin Institute of Creative Writing. She is a 2020-2022 Stegner Fellow in Poetry.
