The memorial is open to the public and we anticipate high attendance. Seating in the Lecture Hall is limited; overflow seating with a simulcast of the program will be available in the SFAI Café.
Bill Berkson moved through life with compassion, grace, and humor. His generous spirit nourished and inspired those around him. He is remembered with special fondness and admiration by the students, faculty, and staff at SFAI, where he taught from 1984 to 2008.

A luminary of our time, Bill’s eloquence with language was surpassed only by the depth of his kindness. He will be greatly missed.
