Ottessa Moshfegh is the author of the novels My Year of Rest and Relaxation and Eileen, which was nominated for a National Book Critics Circle Award, short-listed for the Man Booker Prize, and awarded the PEN/Hemingway Award for debut fiction. Her story collection, Homesick for Another World, was a New York Times Notable Book. Moshfegh has received the Pushcart Prize, the O. Henry Award, a Plimpton Prize from The Paris Review, and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. Originally from Boston, she lives in Los Angeles.
