PEOM: Poetry Every Other Month

Join us every other month at 7pm for a featured poet, an open mic and great drinks and treats!

Alameda Poet Laureate Gene Kahane hosts. All attendees are encouraged to make a donation to the Alameda Food Bank that night to support those needing help this holiday season.

As Charles Dickens wrote, “it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices.” Let’s all rejoice by sharing our cultures, our words, and our hearts.
