Word Week “Queer Words, with Author and TV Producer Bud Gundy”

KQED’s own pledge-master, Bud Gundy, recently published a new book, Somewhere Over Lorain Road, a mystery set in suburban Ohio. A gay man who had moved to San Francisco returns home to help with his dying father and gets tangled up in a cold-case murder from 40 years ago. Come hear Bud read from his book and discuss his life in public broadcasting as an Emmy award-winning television producer. Tuesday, March 6, 7pm, Folio Books, 3957 24th St. in Noe Valley. A Word Week 2018 event.

Bud Gundy is a writer, producer, director, and on-air host for KQED. He has won two Emmy Awards and his novel Elf Gift was nominated for an Over the Rainbow Award from the GLBT Round Table of the American Library Association.
