DESCRIPTION:Susana H. Case and Martha Addy Young read from their poetry\, Evening includes literary trivia quiz and open mic. \nSusana H. Case is the author of seven books of poetry. Dead Shark on the N Train\, from Broadstone Books (2020)\, is her newest. It won a Pinnacle Book Award for Best Poetry Book and a NYC Big Book Awards Distinguished Favorite. Drugstore Blue\, from Five Oaks Press\, won an Independent Publisher Book Award (IPPY). She is also the author of five chapbooks\, two of which won poetry prizes. Her poems appear widely in magazines and anthologies. Dr. Case is a Professor and Program Coordinator at the New York Institute of Technology in New York City. Commission on the Arts and Humanities and a Poet Fellowship from the Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing. She was the runner-up for the Bellevue Literary Review’s poetry prize\, and a finalist for the Larry Neal Writer’s Award and the Crosswinds Poetry Award.
