On Thursday, March 29^th in the year two-thousand twelve, Cassie J. Sneider pimped out a few of her indie lit buddies and treated us all to their stories of the worst. The Worst! was better than the Mister Softee ice cream truck. It was more fulfilling than a bottomless coffee refill. Timeless classics like the worst job interview, worst addiction and, of course, the worst lover ever — in France, no less — were on offer from readers Ali Liebegott, Paul Myers, Greg Youmans, Kathy Getty and the bubbly (but not in any annoying way) Cassie J. Sneider.

What this inaugural reading proved was that the worst can become writing at its best. Always an entertaining reader and now this quirky series’ host, I can’t wait to see what Cassie has in store for future events. One thing she said: The Worst! reading series is set to continue at the too cool Alley Cat Books in the Mission.
