Avery Burns hosts the Canessa Park Reading Series every second Monday at the Canessa Park Gallery, and I know you’re available because I used to see you every month at The Rumpus, which is now quarterly and happens again on Monday, June 4th. This series is very intimate and provides a good venue to meet new people and pay close attention to the work being read. If you like readings in galleries; if you like getting out of the Mission; if you like to hear work by people you might not but definitely should know, this one’s for you.
